Roofing, Gutters and Siding for Your Home
Most calls we get start with one worry: something happened to the roof and the homeowner wants to know how bad it is. Our roof inspections and storm damage repair answer that first, then we handle whatever the roof actually needs, from a few replaced shingles to a full roof replacement. We also repair and replace gutters and siding, since a storm that tears shingles loose often dents downspouts and cracks vinyl panels on the same afternoon. Every job starts with a look at your home, not a sales pitch.

Roof Replacement
When repairs stop making sense or a storm leaves too much damage, we replace your roof down to the decking and leave your yard clean.
Roof Repair
Leaks, loose shingles and worn flashing traced to the cause and fixed, with photos and a clear price before any work starts.
Roof Inspections
A free top-to-bottom check of your roof and attic, with photos, so you know what a storm did and what, if anything, needs fixing.
Storm Damage Repair
After wind, hail or a fallen limb, we check your roof, photograph the damage and repair it in a sensible order, from gutters and siding to shingles.
Gutters
Sagging, overflowing or storm-bent gutters repaired, rehung or replaced, with downspouts set so water lands well away from your foundation.
Siding
Cracked, loose or wind-stripped siding repaired or replaced, with the wall behind it checked so water stays out of your home.
Why Homeowners Call Us After Damage
The days after a storm can feel rushed. Our job is to slow things down just enough that you make good decisions, then get the repairs done.
- We show you, not just tell you
- We photograph every lifted shingle, hail bruise, bent flashing and dented gutter we find. You see the same pictures we do, so you can judge the damage for yourself before anything is decided.
- An honest repair-or-replace answer
- A few missing tabs after a windstorm usually means a repair. Widespread granule loss, soft decking or a roof near the end of its life is a different conversation. We tell you which one you have and why.
- Insurance explained in plain words
- We are not your adjuster and we will not pretend to be. We explain how a claim usually works, what the adjuster tends to look for and how our photos and written estimate can support your conversation with them. Whether to file is always your call.
- Temporary protection first
- If water can get into your home before a full repair is scheduled, we talk with you about covering the damaged area so the problem does not spread to insulation, drywall or ceilings while you wait.
- Your yard treated with care
- We cover plants, protect the driveway and keep torn-off material in one spot. At the end of the job a magnetic roller goes across the grass and pavement to pick up loose nails, so kids and pets can head outside the next morning without a second thought.
What Decides the Cost of Your Roof Work
Two houses on the same block can need very different roof work. Your price depends on the materials up there, the way the roof is framed and what turns up during a close look. These are the factors that matter most.
After our free roof inspection, you get a written estimate with each item listed separately, so you can see where the money goes and compare it to an insurance scope if you have one. If something changes once work starts, we show you and talk it through before going further.
- How much is damaged
- A patch of wind-torn shingles on one slope is a small repair. Hail that bruised every slope, or a tree that cracked rafters, is a much larger job.
- What is under the shingles
- Decking that has gone soft from a slow leak has to be replaced before new shingles go on. We often cannot see this until the old roofing comes off, so we explain up front how any rotten wood would be priced.
- Roof size, pitch and access
- Steep pitches need extra safety setup and move slower. Multiple valleys, dormers and chimneys add flashing work and time.
- Materials you choose
- Architectural shingles, upgraded underlayment and ice and water shield at the eaves each change the cost. Ice barrier matters here, where freeze-thaw winters push water under shingles at the edge of the roof.
- Layers to remove
- Tearing off two old layers takes more labor and more disposal than one. It also lets us inspect the deck properly.
- Permits and related work
- Some jobs need a permit, and gutters or siding damaged in the same storm add to the scope if you choose to handle them together.

A Roofing Company That Keeps Things Calm
Roofing Silver Grove works on homes across Northern Kentucky, and much of what we do happens after the weather turns. Spring thunderstorms, high winds and the occasional hailstorm leave a lot of homeowners staring up at their roof and wondering who to trust. We think you deserve a clear picture of the damage before anyone asks you to sign anything.
That means we take the time to explain. What failed, why it failed, what it takes to fix and what it will cost. Some visits end with a small repair. Some end with us telling you the roof is fine and nothing needs doing. Either way, you know where you stand and what comes next.

Questions Homeowners Ask Us
Something not covered here? (859) 251-3557
How do I know if the storm actually damaged my roof?
Some damage is obvious, like missing shingles or a limb on the roof. Hail bruising, lifted tabs and loosened flashing are harder to see from the ground. The safest way to know is an inspection, which is free. We would rather you stay off the ladder and let us look.
Do I contact my insurer first, or have the roof looked at first?
Plenty of people like to know there is real damage before they open a claim, so getting the roof checked first often makes sense. Our photos and written estimate are yours to keep either way. Filing, and what your policy covers, stay between you and your insurance company.
Will a repair be enough, or will I need a new roof?
That comes down to how far the damage spreads, how old the roof is and whether the wood decking underneath is still solid. A lot of storm damage can be fixed without starting over. If a new roof is the better choice, the photos will make the reason plain, and we walk you through how the two costs compare over the years ahead.
What warranty comes with your work?
Our work comes with a 10-year labor warranty. We go over what it covers when we review your estimate together, so there are no questions later.
Is the inspection really free?
Yes. We come out, look over the roof, take photos and talk you through what we found at no charge. You are under no obligation to hire us afterward.
Do I need to be home while you work?
For the inspection, it helps to be there so we can show you the photos and answer questions. During the work itself, you do not need to be home, though we like to do the final walk-through with you.
Do you handle gutters and siding damaged in the same storm?
Yes. Wind and hail often dent gutters and crack or loosen siding at the same time they damage the roof. We can look at all of it during one visit and include it in the same estimate, so the repairs are planned together.
How a Job Runs, Start to Finish
Here is what happens after you pick up the phone. Nothing moves forward without your okay.
- 1
A phone conversation
Tell us what happened and what you are seeing, like a stain on the ceiling or shingles in the yard. We set a time for your free roof inspection.
- 2
Inspection and photos
We check the roof surface, flashing, vents, gutters and siding, and the attic if we can reach it. Then we walk you through the photos and what they mean.
- 3
Estimate in writing
Every part of the job gets its own line on paper, and we tell you straight whether a repair will hold or the roof is better off replaced. If an insurance claim is open, we show you how our numbers line up with the adjuster's scope.
- 4
Repair or roofing day
Before anyone climbs up, tarps go over your plants and the driveway gets covered. The crew picks up scraps as they go instead of leaving one big pile for the end. If rain or wind moves the date, you hear from us as soon as we know.
- 5
Final walk-through
We look over the finished work with you, clean up nails and debris, and answer any last questions about caring for your roof.
